ON
THE ROAD TO YOUR NEW DESTINATION I THE DIVINE ROMANCE In
the beginning, when God created man and woman, he placed them in a beautiful
garden. The garden of Eden. The first couple lived in perfect harmony.
There was no tension, no pain. The man and the woman bathed in an atmosphere
of tranquillity . Each day, God visited them and they could commune
with their Creator. God was not unknown to them. Communion between man
and his Creator was perfect. There was no shadow in the painting ; everything
seemed like a divine romance. Life was like a peaceful, flowing river.
II THE STRATEGY OF THE FALL God
knew that the only way to guarantee this harmony was to preserve man’s
conscience . To do this, God gave him a law. He gave him a law so that
he would learn the difference between good and evil. This law would
allow man to use his free will ; thus man could distinguish between
good and evil and express his will to submit his life to the counsel
of God. In creating man, God did not create a robot but a man who was
free to choose..
Unfortunately, at a certain moment the man and the woman deliberately chose to transgress this law. The consequences for the human race were dramatic . Their harmonious universe collapsed. Since that day, things have not ceased to deteriorate. III IN SEARCH OF PARADISE LOST Throughout
history , man has not cease wanting to take his destiny in hand and
leave God out. Unfortunately, until now all his efforts have been in
vain. Research , science, and material progress have improved the physical
conditions of humanity without changing the moral values of the human
race.
The more man distances himself from God, the more he is self alienated . He sets out to conquer space but he cannot conquer himself. He is searching for paradise lost. The future of the earth is severely threatened and the human race is in danger. Where will it all stop ? IV THE ULTIMATE RESCUE OPERATION Down
through the ages, God has not stopped speaking to man in order to awaken
his conscience. : He gave man the Ten Commandments and he sent the prophets
Two thousand years ago , God even sent his Son to speak to us. Jesus
, the Word, became a man . He came to earth to bring us the abundant
life of God. . He came to liberate the heart of man from the tyranny
of evil. His mission was really the final rescue operation. Jesus came
to forgive sins ; in other words to free our conscience from the weight
of guilt caused by our sins. He came to break down the wall that separates
us from God in order to reconcile us to him. It’s by repenting of (turning
from ) his sins and believing in him that God can place man on the path
to a new destination.
V A LOVE STORY MARKED BY A CROSS. Jesus
knew that the price of this restoration would cost him dearly. Being
sinless, he knew that he was the only person in the universe who could
satisfy divine justice. God could not allow evil to go unpunished. Jesus
accepted to serve as a ransom. He gave his life for us. He was nailed
to a cross. The punishment that brought us peace was laid on him ; by
his sacrifice, he knew that he would offer men and women the possibility
of changing their destination.
Before his crucifixion , he announced that he would rise from the dead three days later. It was by this glorious resurrection that Jesus demonstrated his holiness, power, his deity and his glory .He is truly the resurrected Son of God, the Savior of the world. VI ON THE WAY TO YOUR NEW DESTINATION Over
the past 2000 years, millions of people claim to have met him. ; on
the five continents, women and men have turned to the Savior and found
peace for their souls. Broken hearts have been consoled by the Holy
Spirit.. Their sins have been blotted out and a new life begun.
This abundant life is offered to all : young and old, men and women ; rich and poor. The life of Jesus knows no limits and is offered to all regardless of race. All those who receive the Word have the assurance that Jesus will be their faithful fellow traveler. With him they can venture out without fear on the way to a new glorious destination. They know that a place is reserve for them in the eternal Paradise. Don’t wait, come and join them ! Franck

CAN CHANGE YOUR DESTINATION ! Repeat this simple prayer , «Dear
Heavenly Father, have mercy on me. I am lost. I ask you to forgive my
sins. With my mouth, I confess Jesus as Lord, In my heart I believe
that Jesus died for my sins on the cross and that he rose from the dead.
Today, I make the decision to become a real Christian and to conform
my life to the teachings of the Bible. In this moment, I receive the
forgiveness of my sins and I accept Jesus as my Savior and as the Lord
of my life. As of now, I am a child of God . I wan to live a life of
moral values, love God, and love and respect my neighbor. Old things
are passed away, all things are becoming new. By entering into a Covenant
with you, Lord I will walk on the road to my new destination. »
I invite you to put fill in the blank spaces with your name : The Bible says , « For God so loved................................................. that he gave his only son so that if................................................. believe in him , ................................would never die but would have eternal life. John 3 :16. You have made a Covenant with God. You have made the biggest decision of your life. You must watch over the Covenant, care for it, strengthen it . Adopt these four pillars of you New Destination ! - Pillar 1 : Speak with God daily in prayer. - Pillar 2 : Get a Bible or a New Testament and read it daily. - Pillar 3 : Attend an evangelical church. - Pillar 4 : Share your experience with you friends.
