The last quarter 1999 has been marked by european missions. Franck Alexandre visited Luxemburg, Belgium and Spain. on the other hand, for the first semester 2000, our objective has been placed on Asia.

Franck Alexandre has just come back from Pakistan where was held in Faisalabad a massive campaign of evangelism from the 15th to 19th of march, 2000.

Pakistan endures a political instability. Since 1947, year of its independence, it quarrels with India the region of cashmere. Scourges bruise this nation : drug! 10 % de la population consomme des stupéfiants. And then, criminality, corruption, and prostitution.

Since its creation in 1947, the country defined itself as a Islamic republic. For that reason, in certain parts of the country the Christian are persecuted. We take a census of 90% of Moslem, 6% of Catholics and 2% of evangelical.

Invited by churches of the full gospel of Lahore and Faisalabad, the evangelist Franck Alexandre went to Faisalabad to hold there a massive evangelism campaign. The preparation of this campaign was punctuated by a succession of divine intervention. The Pakistani Government gave to our coordinator Khalid Shaheen all authorizations for the holding of the impact in the open air, the advertising in the street. Extraordinary fact, whereas all announcement with car loudspeaker is forbidden in all the Pakistan following a recent decree; the authorization was granted us to use this means. We needed to use loudspeakers because many of our posters had been pulled down.

This campaign took place as part of a big Moslem feast called " the feast of the Kebier Aïd ". This feast is celebrated in memory of the sacrifice of Isaac.

All Moslem hurry to buy a sheep and to sacrifice it. This time was the favorable time for the holding of an evangelism campaign because a lot of Moslem are much more tolerant in this period, trying to redeem themselves of their sins. It was a marvelous opportunity for the evangelist to preach evening after evening on the power of Jesus' sacrifice. The path was all marked out for the preaching of the cross. From the first evening the crowd was to the appointment, and meeting after meeting the auditorium didn't stop to increase. Thousands of people came to listen to the gospel. God's power demonstrated itself and the Holy Spirit didn't delay to confirm the preaching of the gospel. Some evil spirits came out screaming, tumors and growths left bodies, the lames walked, and in great numbers the inhabitants of Faisalabad moved forward to accept the Lord Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
